Josef Arzili is the designer behind Azaara. Arzili studied design at the Fashion Institute in Hamburg, Germany.

In the fall of 2001, he created his first line of jewelry, the Vintage Crystal Collection, and soon followed that with his signature Filigree Collection. The company Azaara was born from these two collections and has grown to produce several other lines.
